HOW TO CREATE A SERVER

FOR GORE RETAIL

Setting up a Stand alone Server - Using Windows Command Prompt.

1. Open Windows Command Prompt
2. Change to Gore game folder
3. Enter : gore.exe --server --rules dmrules
4. Server starts (automatically)

Examples of the three play modes:
gore.exe --server --rules dm
gore.exe --server --rules ctf
gore.exe --server --rules tact

Note: Deathmatch can be configured to Team Deathmatch by flagging
the team_play entry from 0 to 1 in \Dmrules\Settings\dmrules.cfg

FOR GORE SE
VARIANT 1

1. open gore.exe
2. type PLAY ONLINE
3. type CREATE A SERVER GAME
4. write name of your server
5. type START GAME

VARIANT 2

1. need to open ports 27770-27780
2. check ports, u can do here http://portforward.com/help/portcheck.htm
3. open your Gore shortcut at desktop, choise properties and write this to the target folder:
--server --gamemode tact (or ctf, or other)
4. example: "C:\Program Files\Gore Special Edition\Gore.exe" --server --gamemode tact
5. click to shortcut and server work
6. if you want to play, than go to Gore SE folder and open gore.exe

You can usually to the companies website of your router and reset it there

maybe if u can give ur autoserver.cfg.... becouse i think is a cfg bug im using gore SE if u can give me the cfg put it in pastebin or give here

you dont need to install gamespy to run a standalone server.
you just need to open your routerports.

-Close gore and goreserver.
-go to your router and login
-open ports 27770-27780
-check ports, u can do here http://portforward.com/help/portcheck.htm

if this program says your ports are open, then everyone can join your server.

In green I added a routerport.
For example portnumber :27771. Gore will use this port.
Now open routerport 27771 in your routersettings and it should work now.

copy paste the lines above into a new .cfg file.
Call it server1.cfg and put the file in Gore Special Edition/settings

Then make shortcut to desktop from Gore.exe.
Rightclick on the new shortcut. Properties, and add this line to 'Target':

*--server*--load*server1.cfg*--gamemode*tact

dont forget the spaces.
so replace "*" by a space!

" --server --load server1.cfg --gamemode tact"

and before you do, try to reset your router, meaning plug it out for like 10 seconds.
Then try what I posted...
