It depends what is Your mother language but there is officialy ranking of hard languages so I can't agree Jelena about hard languages.

Officially the hardest language on the world to learn is chinesse, second- arabic, third- Tuyuca, polish is 9th, russian and spanish are not in top ten actually.

on crystallkiss.com polish is the most difficully language on the world (not polish site) anyway it's not as belive as official ranking.

Maybe I wrong but many people here in Poland know russian, it has something common with second war.

In polish we have this: ą, ę, ć, ś, sz, ch, rz, ż, ź, ó and some other strange things.

If You live in country long time, You can learn even chinesse

well, here whe use some awkwards letters combinations:

CH, = Chicharrón, chorizo. (that is a kind of food)
Ñ = niño, niña, ñoño (niño. niña ---child)
we use acent in the vocals

á,é,í,ó,ú...
some combinations of words no mean the same

No is the same Pinguino to Pingüino (Ü) (Penguin)
or Revolver to Revólver (revolver from move in circle a mixture, revólver ---gun)

true. i dont know, i think russian hard becouse of word combinations. when i try to say somethink very nice, in english its sounds very simple and crapy , cant say what i want or feel. and i think every language is hard. but its possible to learn. just need wish

probably learning portugese for u is like learning slovakian for polish people lol..



oh come on Michu&Lena! both languages are hard ;p polish cos of combinations like Michu wrote and russian cos of CYRYLICA or something ;p but also language .. for PL it could be easy cos our languages are near this same just to learn ortography ;p

i think that China Japan Poland Russia Hungary SUOMI (FINLAND) are the hardest !
